WOO ROO..How cool is this?

Mom said now that I am a grown up I can change the color of my hair so I have decided to go blonde for a while. This is my sexy bedroom pose. What do you think?

I think the blonde brings out my eyes more than the brunette, plus blondes do have more fun and don't need to think nearly as much. :)

Mom helped me pick out a wig that made me look like a princess instead of a Poodle. I think Phil Spector's Mom should have helped him too.

Pink snow? Help, we have been abducted by space aliens while we slept and have ended up on some distant planet where it snows in pink!

Aja really grumbled at me for looking directly at the camera in this shot too. Ok, so I am new at this stuff, wuff me a break here. I was high from the pink snow and got lost for a minute in my delirium.

Aja has no bark to wuff either on the subject because you can clearly see him peeking at the camera to make sure the human was still paying attention to us. It IS all about us you know.

Finally, after we were certain that the odd noises she was making was for the sole purpose of getting our attention, we both managed to act like we were too good to look directly at the human. You can't let them know you are too eager on this planet. I mean really pink snow? We were both afraid to poo for fear it would be lilac or something!

Flurry here.....Happy New Year to Me!

On January 3rd, 2008 I was scheduled to die. Those words just made my Mom cry to type.

Thank goodness so many nice people and God had different plans for me.

I AM SO HAPPY HERE!

My food bowl stays full every day and as you can see I have filled out into a Big Beautiful Dog.

I play with my brother Aja every day. We do the Husky Rumble, then the open mouth game, then we practice stretching out on the living room furniture and we decorate every inch possible with Husky hair. Mom must like this part because she collects it every time we do it in this silly canister thing. Of course Aja and I are right on top of things and we jump back up immediately to make more hair for the humon.

Every night I get on the bed with Mom and I protect her from the monsters under the bed until she falls asleep and every morning, hours before the alarm is due to go off, I jump on Mom to wake her up. This prevents her from having a heart attack if the alarm were to awaken her.

We go for long walks in the neighborhood and I get to see Chucky, Chester, Rocco, Burt, Chief, and Duncan every day.

When Mom isn't looking I even play with the birds.

I am teaching my Mom and everyone I meet what life is really about. Love everyone and play as much as you can. :)

From the humom

My heart is so in love with Flurry. Each and every time I hug her and kiss her (which is a gazillion times a day) I know how much God blessed me when he delivered such a sweet puppy into my life.

So many people have thanked me over the last year and said that I was an angel for rescuing Flurry. You have it all wrong. I am just human...Flurry is the angel. :)

Do your humans ever make fun of you while you are sleeping? Good grief. How gradeschool! You would think that a pup could get a good nap without this kind of abuse. Next thing you know I will be waking up with shaving cream on my paw and someone tickling my nose with one of Jack's butt feathers.

I think Aja and I are going to have to work out a syncronized sleep schedule. This just isn't acceptable human behaviour.

Hi Flurry here. We thought our humom would never put down the stupid birds and get around to updating our blog. She has so many excuses for not servicing our public: school, work, walks, house cleaning, grandchildren, blah, blah, blah. She obviously doesn't know who to serve around here and we need to train her better. Anyway, here are some pictures of Aja and I today on our outing and a live action video although she didn't have the stoopid camera on when I showed off my expert moth chasing skills. Mom keeps mumbling something about my butt being big but just between you and me, I think she needs to take a long hard look in the mirror before she starts judging the expansive nature of anyone else's buttox. By the way, is it good to have huge hamhocks?

The human took a close up fur shot too, again mumbling something but this time it was good. She says I have the most beautiful coat I could ever have. A real diva coat. She won't quit touching it though. I roll over and pretend I like it for as long as she does it but truthfully I am only being nice because I am afraid I will wake up and find my bewoootiful fur stolen if I don't share it with her.

I have combed and rubbed and petted and scratched and done everything I can do to try and free all that loose hair before vacuuming and they just seem to make more.

Here is a picture of the two of them laughing as I slave away trying to vacuum. They apparantly think it is funny that I am even TRYING to get the hair off my floors and furniture.

People often ask me if my dogs shed...uh? Let me think....hmmmmnnnn...ok..I am done thinking...Nope..they don't shed much at all. What! You don't believe me? What gave it away?

Could it be the fact that I just swept my wooden staircase Sunday night and this pile of hair was just accumulated from the tumbleweeds that had formed on the left and right of every step in the last 24 hours?

Nope...Huskies never shed. The intentionally drop hair all over the house to keep their humoms doing healthy exercise with the vacuum.

Mom says we have to look a little more alive if we are going to have a blog site. She has the silly idea we need to actually DO something to make it interesting for our fans.

We personally think that Mom needs to put down the camera and come over and fluff up our pillows a bit. We know that if we stay here long enough looking cute too she will deliver the treats right to us. We just don't see any point in walking allllll the way to the kitchen if we can get delivery right here too.
