Woo, Flurry. I think you and I could be brother and sister. I love to play tuggy-tug like that ... AND my mom is always trying to smooch my snooter! Woo. Luv, Dave
A Merry Christmas it wasn't! In December 2007 I was taken to a shelter in Georgia. I was only 34lbs, covered with mange over 70% of my body, and ready to give up in life. I was scheduled to be euthanized 1-3-2008.
Thankfully a wonderful lady at the shelter, Suzanne, believed that all pups should have a chance. She took my picture and posted it on the Internet and my new humom found me on New Year's Eve.
Suzanne arranged for me to see a vet in Georgia, and found me a place to stay with foster parents, Annette and Jeffrey, until I was healthy enough to travel to my new home.
On Saturday January 26th a wonderful bunch of people helped transport me to Maryland. I was so nervous that I threw up most of the way. My new humom was so very happy to have me and she took me home where I met my new brother, Aja and my two parrot siblings, Jack and Georgie.
Today, I am healthy, happy and weigh a whopping 60lbs. The mange is gone, the sadness is gone, the hurt is gone.
Thank you so much to all the people that helped give me life again. God will surely save a place for you in Heaven to repay you for your kindness!
